"I liked how clear the parking rules were..."
I liked how clear the parking rules were. I didn’t have to sit there second-guessing where I was allowed to leave the car, which makes the whole thing way less stressful, right?
"Pretty convenient most days"
From my experience, it’s been easy to grab a bike near my stop most of the time, even when it’s busy. There have been a few times where the dock was empty or there were only e-bikes left, but it hasn’t happened enough to be a big problem for me. Overall, it’s been a handy option when I need to get around.
"Great for quick rides around town"
I’ve been using this bike mostly for getting around the neighborhood and running errands, and for that it’s been really easy to ride. It turns smoothly and feels manageable, even when the streets are a little busy. I’m not sure it’d be my first pick for long-distance rides, but around town it’s been great.

"Seat was super easy to adjust"
i mean, I was surprised by how quick and easy the seat was to move up and down. It made the ride way more comfortable than I expected...

"App went down, but it was fixed fast"
The app did go down once, which was a bit annoying, but it got sorted fast. Like, really fast, so I can’t complain too much...

"Suuuper Steady Ride"
The bikes felt really steady the whole time, and the brakes worked gooood. Overall, it was an easy, comfortable ride.
"Gets the job done, but takes some effort"
I’ve used Divvy a few times now, and overall the bikes have been mostly clean and rode fine. One of them had really squeaky brakes, which was a little annoying, but it still got me where I needed to go. My only real complaint is that it can feel like more effort than it should be sometimes, especially if the bike isn’t riding super smoothly

"Pretty fair pricing"
The passes seem fair to me, and the day price feels okay overall. Nothing too crazy, just about what I’d expect.

"Signup was fine, login could be smoother"
I signed up on divvybikes.com and it went mostly okay. The form itself was straightforward, but I did end up going back over a couple fields because it wasn’t super clear what I had messed up at first... so that part took a little longer than I expected.
Logging in afterward was kind of inconsistent. One time it popped right up, and another time it just sat there until I refreshed the page. Not a huge deal, and I was able to get in eventually, but it definitely could feel a bit smoother...

"Super comfy for cruising around town"
I’ve really enjoyed riding this bike around town. It feels comfortable the whole time, even when I end up going for a longer ride than planned!
"Pretty dependable for my work commute"
I use Divvy a few times a week to get to work, it’s been really dependable for me. The bikes are usually right where the app says they’ll be, and docking has been easy, especially in the mornings. It’s way less stressful than standing around, waiting for a late bus. I’ve had a couple bikes with squeaky brakes, but I just swapped them out for another one, no big deal. Overall, I’m really happy with it.

"GPS was spot on when I needed it"
I felt kind of trapped not knowing where my bike had ended up, but the GPS came through. I found it fast, and the map was actually right on the money...

"I’ve used Divvy a handful of times around..."
I’ve used Divvy a handful of times around Chicago, the basic rules were easy to follow. The pricing, ride time limits, and where you’re supposed to dock the bike were all mostly clear.
I do like that the app gives you ride info and little warnings before you get going, that helps. But some of the fees could definitely be explained in a simpler way; especially if you’re using it for the first time and don’t know what to watch for.
Overall, it was a good experience, and I didn’t feel like the policies were trying to trick me or anything. I just wish a few of the smaller details were easier to find!
"Usually a Bike Nearby When I Need One"
I use Divvy a few times a week, especially when I’m already feeling mentally drained and just don’t want to deal with the hassle of getting around. Most stations near me usually have bikes available, and even on busier days I can normally find one just a block or two away. It makes running around the city a lot less annoying

"Docks have been locking "just fine""
I use Divvy a few times a week, and the docks have been locking fine for me every time so far.
The main thing I care about is ending the ride without any "drama." I push the bike in, it clicks, the light turns green, and the app usually updates quickly.
I did have one time where I gave it an extra shove, but it still locked like it was supposed to. Definitely makes me less worried about getting hit with some random extra charge.

"I had a question about the charge…"
I had a question about the charge after my ride, and support got back to me quickly. They explained what happened in a way that actually made sense and fixed the charge without making it a hassle. It was nice dealing with a real person who didn’t just send a canned response.
"Helpful for CTA gaps, but not always seamless"
Divvy has been useful when the train or bus drops me off just a little too far from where I need to be, especially after getting off the Blue Line. When I’m in a rush, it’s nice to grab a bike and just keep moving, and most of the docks I use are in convenient spots.
The only frustrating part is that it doesn’t feel very connected with CTA or Pace planning. If I’m trying to move quickly, it’s annoying to find out there aren’t any bikes near the station, or the app isn’t making the trip feel easy. It works, but it can definitely be hit or miss

"I use Divvy bikes for short rides and..."
I use Divvy bikes for short rides and they’re usually convenient. The front basket is nice if I’ve just got a small bag or a few things with me. It’s not even about expecting it to carry a ton, but it fills up faster than you’d think. For basic errands, it’s fine, but if you’re carrying more than a light load, it can be a little frustrating.

"Great when it works, frustrating when it doesn’t"
I grab Divvy e-bikes around Chicago a few times a week, usually kind of on impulse when I don’t feel like walking or showing up somewhere sweaty. when the bike is charged and running well, it’s awesome. Smooth, quick, and super convenient. But it’s definitely hit or miss. I’ve had some rides where I’m like, “Yes, this is perfect,” and others where five minutes in I’m wondering why the bike is barely helping me or making some weird noise every time I pedal. The app is decent and easy enough to use, but I really wish the bikes got checked more often. I’ll still use them, but they’re not always as reliable as I’d like.

"I use Divvy here and there..."
I use Divvy here and there, probably a couple times a week, and for the most part it’s fine. The bikes are usually good once you get one out. The annoying part is the unlocking. Sometimes it works right away, but other times the app says it unlocked and the bike still won’t come out of the dock. I’ve had to try a few different bikes before one actually releases, which isn’t great when I’m already running late or whatever. Not a huge deal, just kind of frustrating.
